Production of Light Olefins via Fischer-Tropsch Process Using Iron-Based Catalysts: A Review

چکیده

The production of light olefins, as the critical components in chemical industries, is possible via different technologies. Fischer–Tropsch to olefin (FTO) process aims convert syngas olefins with high selectivity over a proper catalyst, reduce methane formation, and avoid excess CO2. This review describes through FTO using both unsupported supported iron-based catalysts. catalytic properties performances promoted bimetallic catalysts are reviewed. effect support its physico-chemical on catalyst activity also described. should have stability provide long-term performance without reducing towards desired product. good dispersion active metals surface, porosity, optimized metal-support interaction, degree reducibility, providing sufficient phase for reaction important parameters affecting reaction. selection suitable enhanced optimum conditions can increase possibility light-olefins production. promising method, iron cheap, shows higher resistance sulfur, has WGS which be helpful feed gas low H2/CO ratio, olefins.
